2020-2021 School Year
Welcome back to what may be the oddest school year yet! It's going to be an adventure, but please remember that we are going to ride this roller coaster together! If there is anything that we can do to help you (be it students or parents), please send us an email to ask/ tell (our emails and phone number to call are right below this section).
ACHS is using a new platform this year that is taking the place of Google Classroom. Everything (assignments, grades, attendance...) will all be handled through Canvas where students and parents alike can log in. All assignments will be posted to Canvas (after the beginning of school when we teach students to use Canvas), no matter if students are face-to-face or remote learning. There will also be a sign-in form that remote learning students will need to fill out everyday that they are not face-to-face; it will also be on Canvas after this week. This form is for attendance purposes so it is important to do it daily and for every class!
ON WEDNESDAYS
Though all learning will be remote on Wednesdays, this is a day that more in-depth help can be given. Zoom meetings can be scheduled as well as face-to-face help sessions. Please note the importance of these being scheduled (especially if face-to-face is going to occur because we must let the office know and temperatures must be taken before entering the building). Either Mr. Countryman or Ms. Sullivan will respond to the request (email, phone call...) to confirm the appointment. Since we may have a prior meeting or something that take us out of the classroom at times on Wednesday, please assume that if we have not responded to a request that there is no appointment and the meeting will not occur (be it Zoom or face-to-face).

GROUP B VIRTUAL LEARNERS (Mon- Wed, week 1)
***The following is only for Group B and only for the first week of school. Once we have you face-to-face on Thurs and Fri to help you with Canvas, everything will be posted to Canvas. Also, should you choose to do all the assignments for everyday at once (instead of daily), please remember that you will still need to come here to DO THE ATTENDANCE CHECK-IN FORM EACH DAY!
